Sinéad is a Systemic Family Psychotherapist, qualified with an MSc in Systemic Psychotherapy from University College Dublin (UCD) School of Medicine. She offers a warm, compassionate and collaborative therapeutic space where people can explore their experiences, relationships and the challenges they are facing.
Who I Work With
Sinéad works with people experiencing a range of personal, relational and family challenges, including anxiety, stress, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, communication challenges, life transitions, family conflict and emotional wellbeing.
She has a particular interest in supporting individuals, couples and families during times of change, uncertainty and difficulty.
My Approach
Sinéad’s approach is grounded in Systemic Family Psychotherapy, which recognises that our relationships, life experiences and wider social contexts influence how we understand ourselves and the challenges we face.
She works collaboratively with individuals, couples and families, with curiosity and respect for their experiences and perspectives. Her practice is informed by compassion and principles of social justice, and she aims to create a space where people feel heard and can explore what is important to them.
Professional Background
Alongside her private practice, Sinéad works as a Systemic Family Psychotherapist within Tusla, supporting children, young people, adults, couples and families. She also facilitates reflective practice groups and professional consultation.
Sinéad holds an MSc in Systemic Psychotherapy from University College Dublin (UCD) School of Medicine, a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Social Science. She is a registered member of the Family Therapy Association of Ireland (FTAI) and the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP).
