Psychologist & Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist (Trainee)
Hi, I’m Carolina. I am a Psychologist (PSI-accredited, B.A. Hons in Psychology, M.Ps.S.I.), and I am currently training as a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist at St. Vincent’s University Hospital within the Professional Master’s programme at University College Dublin.
Every individual carries their own history, conflicts, and ways of making sense of the world. At times, these experiences may feel unresolved, painful, or confusing. In this encounter, you are invited to speak openly, allowing what feels difficult to express to find its way into words, and new meanings to surface.
I work with clients navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, difficulties in relationships, trauma, intrusive thoughts, disrupted sleep, questions around identity and sexuality, perinatality, parenting and family dynamics, and struggles with habits or dependencies that feel hard to change.
My approach centres on offering a non-judgmental and reflective space where whatever comes to mind can be spoken — not only what feels clear, but also what is uncertain, contradictory, or complex to express. It is during these moments that opportunities tend to arise.
