Hi, I am Rachel. I am a pre-accredited therapist with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), dedicated to providing a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where clients can feel safe to explore their issues. I believe in working at a pace that is comfortable for my clients and ensuring that we are working collaboratively to help my clients achieve their goals.

I understand that life can be overwhelming at times, and it can be difficult to make sense of our thoughts and emotions. Whether you're feeling stuck, weighed down by the past, or navigating a period of transition, I offer a supportive space where you can begin to grow and develop at your own pace. I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation to my clients to understand your needs and help you to understand how I work. I firmly believe that client’s need to feel like I am fit for them to achieve the best results from therapy.

I have experience working with clients facing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, shame, low confidence, and self-esteem challenges. I also support clients who are grieving, coping with bereavement or loss, or dealing with significant life changes.

My approach is client-centred and non-judgemental, rooted in empathy and respect. I draw from Compassion-Focused Therapy, Person-Centerer Therapy, and Psychodynamic Theory to tailor our work to your individual needs. I also have experience supporting neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD, and I am an affirming therapist for the LGBTQ+ community.

Whatever you are facing, you don’t have to go through it alone. Therapy can be a powerful space to reconnect with yourself, build self-understanding, and find new ways forward.
